We are a wonderful Year 1-3 class at Yaldhurst Model School. The name Te Pihinga means little seedling and shows how we have grown from the wee seeds that we were in 2020. We are extremely hard workers and are proud members of Te Pihinga class.

How wonderful to be looking at flight. Every day we see lots of aeroplanes flying close by our school. People coming from and going to all sorts of wonderful places.
ReplyDeleteI often look up at these planes and think how amazing it is that they are so big and yet they can fly in the sky.
I am looking forward to seeing what you find out about flight.
Hi Te Pihinga,
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful topic to be covering, especially as we see planes everyday at school.
My Dad has always loved flying, in fact, he was a pilot before I was born. He then trained to be an aircraft engineer and he knows so much about flying and planes and how they work. If you were interested I'm sure he would come in and speak to you about anything you might want to know.
I am excited to see all the knowledge you already have about flight. Learn is such an important part of our Learn Create Share thinking. I can't wait to see where this topic takes you all.
