Together, we read the book “Perfect Square”, which begins with a perfectly happy square piece of paper. Each day of the week the square is ripped, cut, torn, crumpled, or wrinkled and made into a creation. We made our own version of the story, and created our artwork from one piece of square paper. Didn’t we do an amazing job!

Wow- 1st in New Zealand for 6 year olds! We were very lucky to have Austin bring in his BMX and tell us all about it.

During Reading Time... we have been learning about, Stick Insects Check out our Stick Insects and habitats!

We did our best to create our environment in a special way so the Stick Insect could be camouflaged! 

Library Time - we are such great readers!

We are so proud of you Lucy! We just love celebrating achievements of children in Te Pihinga!!

Antler Cafe Spud in a bucket and Pumpkin competition.  Lucy got her seed potato and pumpkin seed last year and has been caring for them with lots of water.

Lucy won the heaviest and most beautiful categories for pumpkin growing.

We were all very excited for her.

Today we enjoyed making Valentine's day cards for our loved ones!
