We are a wonderful Year 1-3 class at Yaldhurst Model School. The name Te Pihinga means little seedling and shows how we have grown from the wee seeds that we were in 2020. We are extremely hard workers and are proud members of Te Pihinga class.
Te Pihinga did a wonderful job of sharing their writing on our google hangout today. Everyone used so many adjectives and some people even managed to put similies into their writing. Oliver learnt what the word deciduous means!! Portia enjoyed jumping into the leaves and Jhyral described the leaves like crunching up a piece of paper. Kaylee told us that the leaves rubbings work best when you press lighter.
Sean's writing about his hut!
Check out Lachlan's description of his hut! Mischa has done a great job at shadow drawings. Remington, Archie, and Emily have also created some pretty neat huts. Archie decided to read his book to his pet rabbit.
Well Done Te Pihinga!! Everyone has worked so hard this week and we have loved seeing and hearing all the work you are completing. Keep it up!
Blake has been working super hard on his writing at home, Blake you are an author!!
If you look closely you may even spot that Blake is working on being an illustrator...
Ka pai Blake.
